A Terraced Apartment East 96th Street, New York, NY A renovation of a NYC apartment. Two apartments were combined into one. The apartment was completely renovated creating a more open plan. There is a new entrance, living room, family room, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry, office, and mud room. The master bedroom is at one side of the apartment and the guest room and bath at the other giving the client’s many guests ample space. The apartment has a new laundry and mud room. The clean classic detailing enhance the prewar look of the apartment. It was decorated with modern upholstered furniture accented with modernist furniture and art. Bright accent colors were used throughout with an overall grey background for the walls. The apartment has two terraces which were landscaped, providing attractive and comfortable outdoor spaces. Black/white photographs are before and during construction and color are after.
